Hi, I am a creator, a holistic designer with 15 years of experience gained in different design fields including product, UX-UI, digital, graphic, packaging, branding, and interior design. My work in each field helped me to consolidate strong design skills and the knowledge of a consistent process to develop innovative solutions.
I bring my long-time experience in user research, user-driven innovation, design thinking, problem-solving, user interaction, prototyping, and visual communication to design delightful experiences that can improve people's everyday life.
I love discovering unexpected insights through user understanding, and leverage on creativity to translate those insights
into meaningful solutions.
My story...
I have a college degree in Industrial Design from University de Los Andes, Merida Venezuela. I graduated with Honors as Magna Cum Laude, and with my project grade thesis about “Designing an electrical appliance for preparing Carne Mechada” (shredded meat, a typical Venezuelan dish) I received this highest qualification, which included publication honors and a Eureka Award, to Innovation in Recreation Art and Design.
During the time I have worked at Procter & Gamble and Barilla, I have developed a lot of experience in User Research, giving me the right skills to identify insights and integrate design in the early stage of new development, which can bring a different perspective that drives breakthrough innovations.
My problem-solving skills, combined with my passion for user research, visual design, and enhancing user experiences led me to UX-UI design. Combining my different roles in developing new products both digital and physical, gives me a wide spectrum of execution and a holistic design capability. Years of managing small teams in Procter & Gamble, Lumicentro International S.A., and Oceansix have given me the right skills for leadership.
